Erwin Wurm. A deep man with a great sense of humor embodied in his sculptures.

"I think truths about society and human existence can be approached in different ways. You don't always have to be serious. Sarcasm and humor can help you see things in a lighter way."

Through the depth of his works, the artist and sculptor Erwin Wurm uses sense of humor towards everyday objects making him unique as he takes the risk of playing and taking a random objects to disguise them as what is known as sculpture in art.

Wurm was born in Austria and studied fine arts there. He then became more and more involved with objects and fused his soul and humor into his sculptures.

His works came to influence various branches of the fashion world, as well as the styling sessions for wallpaper where he said in an interview "I simply used the clothes as paint". He also created the audiovisual art as in the music video "Can't Stop" of the Californian band Red Hot Chili Peppers.
